Two shooters share the firing line. One shooter has seven minutes to take up to two warm-up shots and complete a 10-shot scored string at 1,760 yards while the other prepares for their turn. They then switch. The highest hit total wins.
If either warm-up shot is a confirmed hit, the shooter may immediately elect to bank that hit as Scored Shot 1. The shooter must make the choice before firing again, and the scorekeeper will confirm that the next shot is Scored Shot 2. Banking the first warm-up hit forfeits the second warm-up opportunity. A missed warm-up cannot be scored. If no warm-up hit is banked, the 10-shot scored string begins after the warm-up attempts. The seven-minute clock continues throughout.

Two optional training days are planned before the Challenge for shooters who want additional time at distance. Dates and details will be announced.
